To be more clear (fish hold down device) I have seen old nets, game clips, freezer bags. Mind you my experience is limited to the salt.

Thanks for the clarification Dirk1730------my mind's eye was picturing some sort of WWE take down strangle hold/full nelson kind of hold down.

I'm kinda old school--a burlap bag works pretty well too.

Flienlow--take your time with your modifications.Get to know your boat and how it responds to your own style of fishing. Then mod away.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

After only being out a few times in the Hobie, and reading (probably too much ;) NWKA, I'm thinking those adjustable rails are a pretty good idea.  Equip the boat for the ability to change your mind later :)

Though, before even that, I plan on waiting to do too much drillin' and cuttin' until I get the sailing setup installed.

Here is the link to the way I have my Outback rigged. I guess I could follow up on part two of my rigging. I have the FF and GoPro mounted now. Maybe I'll do another write this week.
