Looking to go out this weekend, likely Sunday, if anyone is game.  Nangusdog and I have tossed around a few ideas but haven't settled on a spot yet.  We were thinking of trying Westport or Riffe Lake.  Always looking for ideas or targets of opportunity if you have them.

A few of us are looking at Westport this weekend.  Swell prediction is currently 7 feet, but winds and EARLY morning tides/currents look ok.  Will be more certain of things by tomorrow/friday.

Finally healthy again and able so SWMBO says go fishing!
I'll be out at WP early Saturday.  Sunday looks better with less swells, but not going to pass up an opportunity to get on the water.

Tight lines this weekend all!!!

Wondering how the westport fishers are doing?  I noticed the wind turned to be from the north... yuck.  Hoping it was a fishy trip for all involved!

DoubleR Olyspec and myself went out this morning. Conditions were pretty good but the fishing wasn't.

I didn't see a single fish (well a couple starfish ;D) caught by anyone other than a couple small black rockfish I caught and released. One guy I talked to in Englund's was saying he and his two buddies limited on lings fishing the tip of the submerged South Jetty using herring. They said they couldn't buy a bite with jigs until they switched to herring. There were some rollers/breakers out in the bar though so it would be a little dicey to be out there in a kayak.

I looked on weather channel too, might have hit up the wrong forecast though.  Went to Westport and then looked at the coastal. . Might have been outer though.
