No love from the rainbows today, but then the water temperature is holding at 35. Maybe next week. The water is very low and at this stage even I can make progress against the current.  A couple of pictures to show conditions -- it really was a beautiful day out there.

Man I am jealous! I had to hang at home this weekend! I'm looking forward to seeing some shrimps! I was hoping to see some rainbows but that didn't happen I guess.

Going to pull and reset pots Monday, Wednesday, and prolly pull them Friday and not reset. Friday is the one I'm unsure of, I might not reset Wednesday.

Getting to be a whiteout here in Whittier. A tad breezy but Michele got out for a few hours. I better hurry and order the other outback or I am going to lose my ride!!

A few pics she took.

I dunno about that delivery thing. But I'll leave you a 6 pack of schlitz, blatz,  keystone or PBR in the pot for ya...if I had an electric downrigger.....

Hahahaha

Bottle of 15 year old scotch and u got a deal.

Best part of how I did rigged my pots? You have to use a rod and reel or pull by hand.  A pot puller won't pull it.

Nice!!! So how many more before a net positive calorie gain? I guess it's about the premium flavor.  There is NO better shrimp than freshly caught spot prawns!

Great job!!  That rod reel method is a killer workout I hear!

It was harder than I thought it would be for sure!  I was a xc ski racer in high school and college, so in the grand scheme of things, I've done things alot harder. I just wasn't hella out of shape and crap then... Lol

I need to find a better spot tho.  First pot was too shallow, side stripes mainly.  Second was better. Moved them closer to the falls so have to see if that's better.
