Sadly I won't be able to make ORCfest this year :( i'll be traveling back from FL that weekend. Since it sounds like you guys are already set up for beer (PNW rules!), my free-beer-or-diet-coke-for-political-action offer will stand for the pink salmon and gray's harbor tourneys.  Y'all can collect then. But i'm bummed I won't be there next weekend. Hope you folks have a blast!

Wait, did we miss it? Where can we download the waiver?

So I never saw a response to this posting from Seahorse.  Is there a downloadable waiver I should be finding and signing or this all happening on site?

It's my fault.  My assumption that the waiver is available for download somewhere as we usually do at NCKA.  Sorry for my bad assumption.

No worries, I just didn't want the 3 of us getting there and not have everything needed to get on the water  ;)

Paid for the entry fee today.  See ya on next Saturday.  If I arrive not too late on Friday, I'll swing by the camp ground to say "hello" and fill out the waiver.

The search function didn't help me for this question:

Do we have to call Chinook Bend and book a spot?
It's my understanding that everyone stays  in a group spot reserved for all NWKA members...is this accurate?

Everybody is reserving their own spots.  Tent or trailer.

I just reserved a trailer spot.  does $32 a night sound right?  seems a little high to me.

Chinook Bend is only charging $16 a night for tent camping.....

Are you sure on the price? I think they charged me ~$22 for a single tent spot (even with the Kayak group rate).

  Hi Skidplate,
I paid my camping fee of $16 per night for 3 nights on May 16th. If it has changed since then ---I don't know what to say ??? ???
I was just looking thru some notes and indeed, $16 per night is what we should be paying per person if camping near the ORC area or outdoor pavilion. If you have an trouble getting reimbursed, please send me a PM.
See above. Just tell them you're camping in the group area.

I just spoke with Chinook Bend Campground and they will double check the 20% discount on everyone when you check in. Try to remember to remind them of the 20% discount for the NWKA kayak fishing tournament if you are reserving by phone as they have some seasonal staff that are not aware. For anyone that has been charged or quoted the wrong amount, these will be fixed at check in. Its up to you guys to remind them when you call or at check in.
