My condolences to his family and to the NWKA community. I did not know him but from yours stories and comments I can tell he was well respected. Stay safe every one.

I never met anyone on this board but I read many reports and discussions from Ohbryant. He seemed like a genuine good soul. That's just too bad for his family and especially those kids which will grow up without their father. I threw in some jingle.

As a father of school age children, a donation was the least that I could offer a kindred spirit.  While it won't fill the void of a lost father/husband, it can at least help to take care of distractions from the process of grief and healing.

Good God; I just logged in and saw this. Makes me realize how fragile life is!
Bryan was a great guy and will be missed!
Makes me think that the ORC/another derby proceeds should go to his family...

I'm somewhat new to the area and to the NWKA. I didn't know Bryan but I felt connected to him as a fellow fishing/family fanatic I read everything he posted very carefully and respected his experience and skill.
I was warmly welcomed by this group and have learned tons from your collective wisdom and have gained several new friends with common interests. Just a thought, but how cool would it be if there was a memorial fishing derby that we could hold annually in his name and honor... it could provide a means to provide support to his family and give the NWKA membership the opportunity to celebrate his life on a recurring basis.

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Wow... I am a little speechless... I recently just purchased a Malibu Pro Explorer from Ohbryant. He was a great person. Driving all the way into Oregon to meet me. I believe he was here with his family, but he went out of his way in order to make a great deal with me. I truly will keep my thoughts towards his family.

Planning on it. Budgeting 3 hrs to get to the ferry in light of the bridge incident.  Usually takes 1.5. Hoping thats enough.
