Just a quick heads up, we are doing our annual demo day at Sellwood Riverfront park on June 1st.

We will have 75+ kayaks to try out for free, as well as some serious discounts at our paddlesports center to celebrate the grand re-opening of our newly remodeled space.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me, or check out http://nextadventure.net/community/event/next-adventure-summer-splash-kayak-demo

Come on out and try a few new toys, or at the very least join Craig for his annual Adventure Island ride!

A bunch of us that attended the the kayak bass fishing clinic at Next Adventure earlier this week (thanks again yakbasser and rawkfish) are planning on bass fishing the Sellwood area early in the morning before the Next Adventure demo event.   Come join us for some fishing in the morning and then check out the demo kayaks that Next Adventure and various canoe and kayaking vendors are bringing down to the Sellwood Waterfront Park afterwards.

I will be there with bells on!  I love my annual sail up the Willamette.  I made the Sellwood to Ross Island run in under 12 parsecs with Jammer at the helm.  The best part is running Darth Fiskari's Kayak Storm Trooper Blockade that try to confine me in his little stretch of the river.

I'll be attending also. I am there to watch Craig's blockade run if nothing else. Going to have to try bass fishing with bSteves. It seems that I haven't been really bass fishing all of these years. Thanks for the information at the clinic.

I feel like we should set up an imperial blockade and spring a trap when the time is right.

Hmmm...Imperial Blockade would be a good name for a beer.

  I like it...

Must have beer on the brain.

I can't wait to try out the adventure island, even if I have to don an eye patch and a peg leg. Oh yeah I'll go swashbuckler if need be ;)
Gonna try out a stand up paddleboard too, so don't laugh to hard when it turns into a sit on my butt board
It's not the destination, but the Journey that makes life interesting!

Mark & I will be coming down. Looks like I will be taking the plunge and upgrading to a SOT, most likely a Hobie but I would like to see what other options are out there. I will be selling all my critters to do so. Hopefully I can get it done in time for ORC! Would really like to make it this year!
Donating to Poseidon isn't so bad, maybe he will grant you new armor & weapons!

Baby----------I would love to have you join in the fun of ORC.
 Especially in a new Hobie.......
 We will "make it happen."
 See you there.

Will there be any immersion gear for people to use or be able to try out at this event? Need to get some for the wife and looking to upgrade my own.

Mark,

We don't usually bring Immersion wear as (earlier mentioned by craig solo) the event permit is for a pretty limited amount of river, and I will have safety boaters on the water.
