Oh yeah, I did not see anyone mention thanks to Romanian Redneck for cleaning so much fish.

Did you clean all of the fish for the tacos?

(applause)

That was one stinky spot to hang out for such a long time!
I would much rather be up a creek without a paddle than down one.

About August 2012 Mark made a comment that NWKA is already planing the 2013 ORC. Who could have known what life changing result would come from that one comment!

I had to make some tough decisions, thank you to my guys (Mark & Chris) for their support & helping me through the change. Jammer, you too in an indirect way helped me with the decision that eventually led the way to this years ORC and expanding my yakking adventures! A personal Thank you for that!

ORC was a BLAST! Hats off to everyone in NWKA to pull off this awesome event! Thank you to all the administrators and organizers, for all the time and effort it must have taken to bring in the sponsors and keep everything going smoothly!

THANK YOU to Next Adventure, Troy for helping me get my Outback & all the gear needed to go with it! Jake, a special thank you for going all out to help Chris get a better set up for him! I know that is " your job" but I enjoyed talking to you guys and hoping to get to know you better in the future! Also THANK YOU Next Adventure & Hobie for the awesome grand prize!!!

It seems that all through the week end there was always someone there to offer help, from carrying things to and from the food court to helping get my boat in & out of the boat launch! You guys are awesome! Thank you!

I wanted to extend a very special thanks to Antony? For loaning us the camp stove to heat up the beans for Saturday night!

Fred, Robert, Langston and anyone else that shared our campfire, thank you for the warm company and memorable laughs!!

And finally, a great big thanks to the people that make up NWKA! After all it is your positive attitudes and welcoming nature that make an event like this such a memorable experience!

Donating to Poseidon isn't so bad, maybe he will grant you new armor & weapons!

Wow! Thanks for all the positive comments. I'm glad you guys had a great time and enjoyed the prizes. I've been slammed at work this week, but will try and post the official results very soon.

Cheers to all!

I can't take credit for all of the fish that were filleted. Some people wanted to fillet their own. I did most of the ones that were donated. It was fun. Got to practice my filleting and chat it up with some mighty fine folks.
I'm definitely no Fungunnin with a fillet knife, but I appreciated the practice.

You were certainly in the zen of filleting.  You even did my ling before I realized it.  I had wanted to fillet it myself, but you did a pretty decent job :).

I felt bad about that. I was in the zone, and had her snatched from the middle of the table and down to her pantaloons before I realized it was your fish.

I cleaned about 4 gallons worth of fish, but Paul was having such a good time cleaning and teaching others how to clean, I let him run with it.  Thanks to Dino for doing pin bone quality control and cutting the fish down to fry sized chunks.
