ORC 2013 Thankyou thread

I would first like to thank our sponsors and especially Next Adventure, Kayak Shed, and Ninkasi for coming out there and helping us have a great time. 

Next a big thanks to Jammer and the Admin team for putting on this event, getting great swag and prizes. 

Chinook Bend for being such great hosts and always making sure we were happy.

Sumpz for organizing the fish fry, Islandson671 for making the pig on Friday and Sumpz, Islandson671, Justin, and Polepole for frying the fish, tacos, chicken, fries, tots!

The Coast guard and Sheriff for doing the boat inspections early and for keeping the peace at the launch.

Everyone who attended to make the event a great experience!

I'll second all of that! It was a blast!
I also want to give a BIG shout out to Michael (Jammer) for all of his hard work putting this together.
And of course, a very big congrats to you for your second ORC win. That cabbie was a BEAST!

Thanks Jammer, Admins, and Chinook Bend for hosting a sweet event. This was my first ORC, and it is far from my last! Sumpnz did a great job getting the taco feed ready and Islandson for a pig roast. This group is THE BEST group of guys around. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Thanks NWKA!

The sponsors were great too. Fiskari from Next Adventure, John from Kayak Shed, James from Ninkasi, Mike(?) from Hawgs Jo/Mar Tackle. It was great meeting the owners/reps from these companies and getting to thank them in person. Thanks again guys!

Definitely a big thanks to everyone who helped put together the ORC and to all the fisherman who competed. 
I am already looking forward to next year.

It was great to make it there this year and to meet so many of the guys here.I wasn't able to stay for the final after party and as I was off the water early, with No fish and Work calling  every 15 mins I figged I should head south. I was able to get some fare   video of the water conditions and it would make a few sea sick to watch it LOL,and no fish being caught on it so I won't bore anyone with a post.But it was A great fun day off for me,and Happy to hit the water.. Hope to make more event,Thanks Guys for All the hard work putting it together..See ya next year or sooner? Jeff.G.

Thanks. This was unexpected as I only started catching after 10am. I finally got a ling so We were drifting back in as I "snagged up" got it loose, then again, got it loose again, then felt the head shakes. I got him up a few feet and he ran and took line twice. Finally got him close to the water as saw that huge head. Lip gripped him and bonked him about 10 times until the shakes started. Bleed, measured 29". I was so tired after, Dino watched as I tried to put him on my game clip and bag about 5 times.
