That is funny.  Ndogg and I were just mentioning today, as we were slaying salmon in Tillamook Bay  ;D, how we should suggest potentially making it a chum tourney.  This should be fun. Thanks.

Especially on Nate's Barbie pole :))

Unfortunately, Nate's Barbie went to the bottom in Nehalem Bay if I remember correctly.

Craig is correct, the barbie rod went for a swim and never came back.  I am very excited to try for chums.

Any thoughts or recommendations on campgrounds, RV facilities, or hotel for people thinking about spending the night near Shelton?

Thanks for the update!  Are the waivers we sent you for October still good, or will we need to replace them.

I'm really looking forward to trying the chum fishery.  If anyone has any suggestions on how to best catch the Oakland bay dogs, I'm all ears.  I've seen recommended having a anchovy/small herring under a bobber or trolling a green spoon/herring behind a dodger or not-green flasher.  Thanks for any tips!

How many of you would be opposed to doing this on Sunday 11/10 instead of Saturday. A bunch of the HOW team including myself is scheduled to be part of the Auburn Veterans Day Parade on the Saturday.

The 10th is my birthday. Maybe I should pull the bday card and make a trip?

You should do it. We're giving away a Predator kayak

Well, that would make Saturday a better day with less competition. >:D

Just kidding.  I would not be opposed to either day.  Whatever works best for everyone.

+1. I have never fished for chum nor have fished Oakland bay.  Would love any info.
