I hope I can catch a coho this year.  All I could get to bite last year were Kings.  ::)

Yeah, that was such a terrible problem for you too!  ::)

You should attend kykfshr's salmon seminar next week. It will give you the advantage needed for this tournament.

I've got it on my calendar and plan to attend the seminar at least.  I still don't know if I can swing the tournament, however.

I just got back from Alaska (the North Slope) last night and have to return on the 19th so I will not be able to make the SleighRide this year.........damhik. Making some big bucks has to take precedence at this time.

To any yakkers that are on the fence about making this tourney------go for it.
Good fishing--decent water--and good times with buds. It doesn't get much better.
To all that do make it-----best of luck to all. Hope everyone has a great time. I will be there in spirit.

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

I would love to do but I am new to Kayak fishing. I have only fished the Snohomish/Skykomish rivers and have not been in saltwater at all. I don't have a dry suit and will not be able to afford one anytime soon. Is it worth taken the chance or should I get more time under my belt. Thanks.

The current is strong there when the tide is moving.  If you fell out, your kayak may leave you.  But, I don't know what the water temps are there.  I have fished smaller bays without one, but when I go out in the Pacific, I always wear one.

Send in the waivers via snail mail to me please. It makes it easier for me to track who has filled out the waivers and who has not.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST PADDLE; CATCH AND LAND (NET) FISH WITHOUT ASSISTANCE OF OTHER PERSON(S). Use of tandem kayaks may be allowed provided each participant is able to paddle as well as catch and land (net) fish without assistance.

Does passing her the net count?  I've only got 2 rod holders, and they are both behind me.
