I don't care if you hand her the net. As long as the fish is netted without assistance.

Interesting - last year's winner of the Westport (coho) boat basin derby was 15 lbs, 4 oz. - not too shabby.

Better get signed up for the Slayride now - you dont want to miss this one!

Only 2 weeks left until the SlayRide Derby. We need more participants. Who's in? We've got some great prizes not to mention the Awesome Old Town
Predator 13 that is being given away for 1st prize.

I'll be there.  Just need to get signed up.

It was tons of fun last year and I'm sure it'll be even better this year.

Put my waiver in the mail this morning and plan to pay in a few days when I am absolutely certain I won't need to be at work.

Any idea how busy the boat ramp gets this time of year?  I am thinking about driving down the morning of and want to be prepared if it is swamped if I'm not there at first light.

The line for the ramp gets long, but if you do not need to launch from a trailer, you can bypass the line, find a place to park, and walk your yak to the launch.  At least that is what several of us did last year.

I also sent in my waiver, but am not 100% sure I can go yet.

The flyer on the home page and first page of this thread has the info for lodging/camping.
