how much water inside the outback hull is acceptable

Heres a picture of my crack haha. I fished for 9 hours today. I estimate it is leaking about 1 gallon per hour.

Wow, that's quite a crack you have there. I haven't seen a longitudinal crack in this area...in the half dozen cases I've seen, the cracks are horizontal around the radius and very difficult to see.

Unfortunately I got a crack in the front of my drivewell on my adventure. My dealer doesn't want to deal with it, so who do I talk to at hobie? I sent a message in the "support/contact us" form on the hobie website but haven't had a response yet. For those who have gotten a replacement hull, how did you go about it?

I went straight to hobbie .... Think I had to follow up and bug them a couple times. I wouldn't volunteer info about how many owners the boat has had as it won't help your case.
I had to pay for an out of warrantee replacement but it wasn't full price. I've heard others have not been so lucky.
This is where my crack started and it only got worse.

I bought the kayak directly from a hobie dealer in 2011 so I am outside of the 2 year warranty. However since I have had the kayak, the dealer is no longer listed as an official Hobie dealer.

Hobie will direct you to another dealer to handle your claim. Be prepared to do most of the work as dealers don't like to deal with boats that don't make them any money.
But you should be able to buy a replacement hull.
