Fishing was slow this morning...I trolled around for a couple hours and managed three Kokes before getting cold and giving up.
Here's my first attempt at uploading a video...

Looks pretty good. Do you have multiple cameras or did you swing the front facing camera down for the underwater shot?
I subscribed to your channel. I'll look forward to more videos!

Thanks I'm new to this stuff and have much to learn. Yes, I have two cameras. For the underwater shot I used a simple mount I made out of 1.25" PVC that slips into my fwd molded-in rod holder...allows me to still use the rod holder too. I'm looking forward to using it in the salt and salmon fishing.

The only gripe is that the remote doesn't work for the underwater camera  (for obvious reasons) so ya gotta just let it run.

Thanks for sharing.  I look forward to more videos.  I'm planning on hitting lake Stevens next week for some kokes..still may be a bit early.  I like your downrigger set up.  I fish mostly out of my Outback.  How did you attachthe wood base to your hull?  Wayne

Thanks for the kind words...I'm new to this video stuff.  I can't tell you how many times that second rod has gone off while fighting the first...if it does go off (and I notice it  ::) ) I start pedaling even faster to keep slack out of the unattended rod while I fight my first fish. I've landed several doubles this way.

Hi Wayne...I've had a couple people ask me that question so I'll post a couple pics under a new thread so people can search easier in the future if they choose...stand by...

Do you have multiple cameras or did you swing the front facing camera down for the underwater shot?

Here's a picture of the underwater mount I made for my GoPro using some 1.25" and .75" PVC.

I built the basic mount and used a heat gun on the low setting to "form" the .75" inch piece to conform to the hull...once it's "snapped" into place it's rock solid and the "tee" fitting keeps the rod holder usable.

I have a friend who mounted a Go-Pro camera on the bow of his kayak, and when he reviewed his first day of footage he was embarrassed to discover how many hits he had missed while trolling.  I told him he should make a video with all his trolling bloopers.

I caught 88 Kokanee while ice fishing on Georgetown Lake (near Anaconda, Montana) on Saturday morning.  There isn't any limit on Kokanee in Georgetown Lake because FWP believes that there are too many Kokanee in that lake for the food supply.  The good news is that there are definitely a lot of Kokanee in the lake, and they are tasty.  The bad news is that they are small.  The biggest was 10.5."  I keep hoping that if we catch a lot, the kokanee will start getting bigger.  So far our efforts have made no perceptible dent in the population and have had no perceptible impact on the size of the kokanee.
