Mark and Nate...thank you for a great presentation,a lot of good info. Thanks to Next Adventure for the pizza and brew. Great to meet a bunch of ya...cool to put some faces to the names I already knew.
Good luck to all in their springer pursuits!

Thanks Nate and Mark for the sharing your knowledge last night.  I have a question regarding the water turbidity data that you spoke about last night. I found this for the Willamette:

http://or.water.usgs.gov/will_morrison/monitors/will_morrison_tbdy_14.html

But I haven't been able to find this data for the Columbia.  Is there information like this for the Columbia?

It was great to put some faces with names and screen-names. Thanks to the hosts for the information and eats!

Now if only I could remember names... or faces...  :-[

   'MISSION ACCOMPLISHED'

A fine job by Nate and Mark at the Springer Clinic . A wealth of information given out on a large variety of topics. I'd say that you got the enthusiasm pumped up pretty high. I know I'm ready to start hooking up.

There were about 25 people that showed up. I'd say that's a good turn out. Though I didn't get to meet everyone I was able to put a few names to faces that were new to me. That's always one of the best parts of our get-togethers.  Of course, re-connecting with guys you already know is always good too.

I don't believe there will be any video of the seminar. Sorry about that for those that didn't attend. 2 hours of instruction/information would be sorta difficult to record and edit to convey all that was talked about. There were a lot of good questions asked about rigging, safety, locations, and techniques. And I hope everyone went away with some new knowledge. I know I did. I would suggest to anyone seeking information to put this on your calendar the next time it's offered.

So--a big thanks to Mark, Nate, and Next Adventure for putting this together. Looking forward to hooking some spring king.

This was the first seminar I missed in the last 3 years :( For those of you that went, you were taught by some of the best. Both Mark and Nate have a phd in fish juju.
I miss fishing with all you guys. I know I've been MIA from the forum but my job has really gotten hectic in the last 8 months. I've never been this busy in my entire life, but it's better than not having a job at all so I'm thankful for what I've got.
I haven't gotten my kayak wet since ORC. Can you believe that?
Mark, Nate, I am planning on being at the April 5th on the water event to lend a hand as needed.
And Mark, if you wear your floppy hat, I'll wear mine. ;)

p.s. Wasn't the Jadester supported to finish that story with the new neighbors? That was like a year ago!

You're telling me. Work has kicked my butt the past 6 months. I'll definitely be out at Davis on Saturday. My schedule is beginning to open up so I should see more time on the water.
Looking forward to catching up with you Mark.
