I just wanted to throw a HUGE SHOUT OUT to everybody here on NWKA.......

Saturday will mark a year that I have been kayak fishing....never had did it before nor really heard of it until I met browneyesvictim (Erik)... I was invited to ORC 2013 with no intention of fishing the tourney......that changed...Thanks Erik :-*....Did not catch any fish but was immediately hooked to the sport even after almost getting rolled coming back in. Everybody was very welcoming and friendly, it was like a huge family. I tied flies for the first time ever and found that I was a natural, hence the name FlyGuy.

I went from using Dana's outback, Erik's beat up ugly stick, a pair of waders, dry top and a $5 pair of walmart water shoes last year to being fully equipted with two yaks with all the gear and I couldn't have done without the help and support from everybody on NWKA especially the ones that took me under their wings (you guys know who are). I still have alot to learn and look forward to gaining more knowledge from all of you.

So it is my pleasure to express my appreciation and thankfullness to each and everyone of you for everything you have done. I'm so excited and pumped to be joining ORC for my 2ND year!!!!!

I would have to say giving up the dirtbike addiction for the kayak addiction was a good decision ;D

To all you new guys out there.....Listen to the "old salts"!!!!! Trust me they know what they are talking about.

ORC 2014 HERE WE COME!!!!!!!! everybody have a safe trip, look forward to seeing you all

Maybe you can take Sharkbait's spot if he bought one and wants to sell it.

Sharkbait will sell it for a $40 donation to H.O.W.
