We're 6 weeks out.  If you haven't signed up for anything at the taco feed yet please do so sooner rather than later.

ORC organizers - please send a link to this thread to folks from NCKA and the Hobie forum that are signed up so they can chip in too (assuming they plan to stay and eat).

Hi sumpNZ. I can bring some haupia dessert. It is a coconut pudding that you find at most Hawaiian parties. I'll make as much as I can and hope everyone gets a piece. Maybe I can make a banana nut roll or 2 also.

I'll bring some Louisiana fish fry, so long as it's not mixed with beer.   It's way better if it goes on the fish straight from the bag without being mixed with anything.

Last Year at least we did the Louisiana fish fry mix dry.  Thanks!  Added you to the list.

Gents and Ladies - We are now 1 month out from the tournament date.  There are a lot of items still not claimed from the list in the OP.  I'm organizing this portion of the event, but it's all of you that are the key to making it a success by providing the food and equipment.

Also, I'd like to ask that everyone that participates in the taco feed be prepared to spend just a few minutes afterwards helping out with cleaning everything up.  50-100 people working on the cleanup gets it done in no time flat and no one person has to do much.  5 guys doing all the cleanup sucks monkey balls and takes forever.  Last year everyone was really awesome with helping on the clean up.  It was pretty painless and I'd love to see that again this year.  The good folks at Chinook Bend like us in part because we don't leave a huge mess for them clean up.

Count on me for paper goods.  Towels, plates, and napkins.  I'll also bring a bunch of extra plastic forks/spoons/knives.

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent
