Just got a PM that browneyesvictim has donated a large quantity of really nice firewood, enough to cover Friday AND Saturday.  THANKS ERIK!!!!

Well... Josh (FlyGuy) stopped by Saturday and raided my woodpile and loaded some in his trailer. I wasn't home at the time (fishing Sunset Bay), but looking at how much he took, I wouldn't say its THAT much. Depends on how big of a fire I guess. I should have some room left in my trailer to bring more. Ill be packing it up this week and happy to bring more since I have space, but I wont get in to camp until Friday eve though.
Better to keep ones mouth shut and presumed a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

I didnt want to clean you out  ;D plus I had to have room for additional stuff and gear. More wood is always better, just as long as you keep me away from the fire ::)

I know... You just didn't want to overload those springs and new U-bolts. >:D

Actually they still are a bit stiff even after taking the overloads off, but should be good not to shake my yaks apart.

I just want to say THANK YOU!!! to everybody who helped set-up, cook, clean up, brought food, fryers, plates, and all the other things necessary to pull this taco feed off.

In particular I want to thank Firefly51, and the 2 guys helping me run the fish and tater tots frying (sorry, I'm horrible with names and can't remember yours', but you know who you are)!

The taco feed is a big job and far, far beyond what one guy can do by himself.  I got many compliments about the food, and flattering though it is to hear that, it really is more a measure of the rest of you all than it is of me.  Seriously, it can't be done, especially that well, without a lot of help.  So I tip my hat to everyone that contributed.

Although I know I won't have the time to run the taco feed next year, and am unsure at this stage if I'll have the time to even attend the ORC in 2015, I'll be happy to consult with whoever chooses to take it on.

I don't know if anyone mentioned it before, but thank you Craig, Langston, Nate and Allen for cleaning the fish for the tacos. Thanks SumpNZ for organizing the taco feed, being by the fryers meant getting to taste some nice samples! Thanks Allen and who ever was doing the Oysters and Clams, very tasty!
