Tillamook bay most days

I live in garibaldi and have a mostly open schedule ( wife and grandson) if anyone wants to crab and fish the south jetty post a reply here or send me a message , as long as I'm free , I'm willing to fish

How's the fishing and crabbing now? I'd like to get out some nice weekday in the next week or two and am also flexible.

Crabbing for me not so good ,slow for people I have talked to , fishing for sea bass good with the right bait .

How's the current by the jetty?

It can be a little strong in spots , we dropped in about an hour and a half before low drifted out fished slack on the inside 100 or so yards from the corner , not out in the jaws, and flushed back in with the tide

Going back at it today with the neighbor in the Big Tuna tandem , will update upon return , and a gear flush.

Let's just say windy as he!! , fought the wind and incoming tide to position a drift and had to paddle the whole time to drift slow enough to fish, no crab but Dakota got his first salt water fish! Not a monster but he was happy .

Good day for minnowmagnet and myself

My son  and I are heading down on Saturday morning for some fishing and crabbing.  Will launch 2 hours before low tide and fish until mid afternoon.  Hope to see you out there.

So a 7:30 launch scheduled I got clearance from fission control so pending no emergency I should be there!

7:30am sounds right.  High tide isn't until 4:10pm so should leave plenty of time for fishing.

If your feeling adventurous we could go up the Miami but you will have to paddle the mirage drive won't make it

Delinkeizer is coming to tilly today to hit the south jetty wall sea food market for rock fish ,pics to be posted later
