Here is kinda what I was thinking of... (w/ various takes on the color scheme)  I have no idea if certain colors/combos are prohibited or not.  I think I like the red/white or the orange/blk/wht ones the best.

I love the NWKA flag idea,  I had been planning of getting bike flags and putting the stickers on it.  I get nervous when a boat starts to swerve towards me..especially when I remember I am in a blue kayak.....

I like the high contrast of the black on Yellow.

But, what do you do when the direction of the wind and the direction of the PBer coming at you are the same?  :o
I tend to take really exagerated strokes with my paddle (which has safety yellow blades).

This might be an option from Gettysburg Flag
http://www.gettysburgflag.com/Bicycle_Flags.php

Minimum order is 50 flags @$6.90 each, plus the $50 set up fee, add a few bucks to each to help keep the NWKA server running and we're looking at maybe $10-$15 each plus shipping.  That's assuming we have enough interest to warrant an order of 50 flags.  Oh.. and they are only printed on one side.   Has anyone found anything better?

Brian

Good call...  I didn't mean to hijack that thread.

Thought I'd put out a poll on the kayak flag question.
