No Hobie dealers in Juneau, Outback came from Hobie Cats Northwest in Seattle. They brought it to the barge for free and shopped for best price so it was just Barge cost (150$). Expecting next Wednesday (pins and needles)  ;D

Cool, My Propel will not be the only one in the state. What will be cool for you will be the
10% member rebate next year.

AK Rod you are not the only one now.  I picked up my Slayer Propel 13 from REI This March,  bought it off the rack, I have also purchased an Outback from Alaska Raft and Kayak which unfortunately will not be here until June. No worries though I have never been in a Kayak so I have plenty of time to learn in the propel prior to the outback's arrival

Congrates, I think you'll like it. Did they have anymore in the store? I want to get one for my wife, I guess I should call. I just spent some of my rebate on-line with the 20% off coupon. Sure like REI.

As of last week I did not see any.  I snatched mine up while they were just starting to set it up on display, I figured it would not last long if I hesitated.  Hoping it is as stable  as it looks.

Well I got this going for me, which is nice.

Ddrash has your kayak come in yet, I ordered mine the other day and its says it will arrive by the 1st of May.  I called REI today to see if they had one on the floor and they said no, also he checked his computer and said they showed none on the way with a month delay?

Nice, I would call today. The guy on the phone told me they get their shipments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Did they charge you when you purchased it online or are you paying for it upon pickup?

Today of all days my wife had a flat going to work, she drove the truck in while I changed the tire and sat at johnsons getting it repaired. You get the dividend with the membership so just with the kayak that's more than $200 in store credit add in a vest and dry suit cash back, and you can get as nice a paddle as you want or maybe a roof rack you might need.

I plan on giving Rudys mpg in his civic a run with my Tdi.
