Ok.  So I am always trying to dink around with software and see what might be useful.  I converted the household computer to an iMac a few years back so I have been using iMovie.  I still prefer my PC based Powerdirector 10 but hey, it was free.  lol.

So one of the "buttons" i had never hit was the "create new trailer" function.  It's just a bunch of templates that create what really look like a trailer you see at the movies.

I'm not sure really the usefulness of it, but what the heck.  It actually does make it sound like the movie for the trailer is going to be something a whole lot better than what it probably will end up being.  Haha.  That's points for the trailer templates but probably sucks for the viewer.  lol.

So it was just a test.  Probably more silly than anything else but as long as I have it, here ya go!  haha.

Good footage, and a very funny trailer!  I'm looking forward to seeing the full movie.

Fishing seems way cooler with heroic music playing in the background.  Perhaps I should add a boom box to the gear on my kayak.

Awesome Rudy! I just happened to have headphones on my computer when I clicked play. It felt like I was movie theater for a moment. Nice job. Looking forward to the full length highlights of 2014

That's pretty darn cool Rudy.  Looks like a legit movie trailer.  Well, except for the goofy looking star.  ;)

Not real sure about all the credits at the end.........

  Seems kinda lop-sided.

Thanks all.  They are pretty funny to try and make.  I should try a few other templates...

It's 16 minutes long now.  Will likely be a few minutes longer. I will definitely try and set up next years video so I can do it in shorter segments.  It's in chronological order with dates so it won't be too hard to watch in segments if people prefer.

The hardest thing so far has been to meld the three audio tracks into one:  Video audio. background music, and voice over.

It's not going to win any oscars.  The intro is a tad long and the first 45 seconds of fish scenes is ice fishing clips.  But I'd say the remaining bit, it's 95% fish action shots!

So now its final editing then the longest task of voice overs and it'll be ready!
