Tillamook Bay May Day: after party & and after math

This will be my first tournament to participate in.  Are there any do's and more importantly dont's that would be good to know before the day of?

Welcome first off ,glad your going to make it second off as for what to know before hand you need to come prepared to have a good time third off. If you are wanting a tee shirt get the order form in the mail Monday prices are on the post for them.

Got word from CJ at Next Adventure and he said they will produce something for the tournament so keep your eyes peeled for him or I to post it up soon. Also be sure to get in the shirt orders if you want one and post up what your contributing for the grub at the awards. We will now have 4 treager grills going ( am I spelling that right?) for the potluck. And now have two crab cookers. I will check in with the fishing and crabbing gurus this week to see what's biting on what and will share said info across the forum.  Hope to meet some new members and can't wait to greet the ones I have fished with in the past.

We got another sponsor on board and I'm rather exited about this one .... NoYaks.com is going to put together an event page for us to post up all the pictures in one place. Bill will be here with his cameras on board the camera boat to catch as much action in the water as possible.
Anyone wanting to add there pictures to the pool may do so but once Bill does his work the edited pictures get copyrighted to noyaks and can't be used commercially.
The page(s) will need some written work by participants so we get the information correct and event photos will be welcome from anyone in attendance. I would like to see as many photos as possible and will shoot for 50 to 100 photos published.

As usual the published photos will enlarge to 1200x857 pixels and a few may make it to the "Wide Screen" size of 1600x900 pixels. I would like you to let folks know I will need large photos to give me room to edit and crop to those sizes. FYI: Most late model camera phone photos are okay.

Other information :
** Please do not alter the photos; send photos as the camera produced them; I will take care of editing.
** If photo credits are wanted be sure participants specify what name to use; real name or NWKA handle?
** When sending folders of photos label your folders with your name and assign a folder number example; mojo1, mojo2. Please do not name all folders or individual photos the same; doing so may cause me to lose photos.

~ Special circumstances for Events and their sponsors ~

When an event is placed on the pages of NoYaks by an event organizer; the organizer and the sponsors of the event may use those photos to generate interest in future events and product merchandising providing they give mention to the person who captured the original photo, and NoYaks.com. This permission is offered freely and without cost but is limited to the specific event organizers and the listed sponsors of that event. Participants who submit photos of the event have been made aware of this provision and agree to the future use of their photos without further permission or compensation.

Pro Cure will be sending some goodies for you guys to feed the aquatic life with your hooked offerings. We will be passing those out Friday evening for those that are staying and the morning of for those arriving in the wee hours of Saturday . Be sure to come see me before hitting the water. You must check in before launch as well as upon landing.

Noyaks has just informed me that he will be adding $45 worth of Pro Cure to the prize pool thank you Bill.

Those are all great scents - NICE! I'm convinced bloody tuna works for anything with gills.

Herring Super Gel is my go-to scent for chinook. Don't tell anyone though...

I agree. We're thinking of doing this for the Humpy tournament. Hope you do it so we can take notes [emoji12]

Our format is heaviest weight of all legal harvest. In 3 categories #1 Salmon=2 fin clip ,#2 crabs = I believe 12,#3 all other fish .... so we will have 3 1st place 3nd place and 3rd place winners
