Actually I may just set up camp at WG then go have a few beers with them and come back in the morning.  If anyone comes today or in the morning I will post a picture of the site and you are welcome to stay there.

It's fishing so I am not going to guarantee it.  There are days when the baitfish move out.  Silt moves in. Where the ocean seems empty.  But then bam its back on again fairly consistently this time of year.

The hotspot has definitely been 25 to 45 ft of water closer to the North (south relative to WG) Anchor River Closure line.

When You drive down the hill, stop and look at the water clarity.  The edges of the different water colors seem to be the most productive.  You may see brown, black, green.  But its typically very clear lines.  It also will tell you how close you can come to shore at times.  I have caught them, but the fast action is always in the clearer green water vs the semi silted water that happens closer in.

Thats way over thinking it.  Find 25 to 45 ft of water and drop your bait.  It will happen!  Good luck!!!

Here's a pic of my spot if anyone needs a place to stay.  I'll be in Ninilchick tonight and will be back in the morning.  The spot is right in the middle on the left side

Navionics boating. Pricey for an app. 20 bucks maybe but worth it. Add the sonar chart extra buy and detail is very good. Tip of spit.

Troll 15-45ft of water with a flasher, 2-4oz banana weight, and a double hook with a green label herring. Can't go wrong
