Mouth of the Puyallup?

Chris, I might be up for a try...  Kinda depends on my shoulder which was acting up yesterday - but I have my new kayak-hauler to initiate!

It depends on if any of my kids want to come as to whether I hit it Sunday.  Monday is probably more definite.

I mighy make a tri out there monday. Ive never been there so its gonna be an adventure for me

Plans are firming up.  Looks like Monday with one of my sons.  Time not exact yet but probably am through the high.   I plan on twitching jigs and throwing spinners.  See if there are any pinks left out in the salt or if a Coho might like to play. Look forward to seeing some others out there!

Loaded up and ready to head over there in the morning, hopefully to find some cooperative fish this time!

See you there.  We are  going to be leaving here around 8ish so we should be there and on the water by 9ish.  Hopefully the rain has not sent all of the fish up the river.  I got a report from another site that said they did well last weekend. But a week can be a long time.  I suspect we will still see some fish though.

I sure hope to see some fish, the aroma of skunk permeates my boat, and I swear I can hear the salmon laughing at me...  If you see a Minionmobile at Thea, just look for the matching boat 😎  Going to try and get out there early(ish) and be afloat by 8 if I can.

Hey szimmerman,  just an fyi there is no bathroom at this park, and not a lot of convenient bushes either!

There were fish today, but not at the river mouth.  There was a nice combat fishing zone over at the Foss Waterway entrance, and a few fish taken.  None by me 😕 but had a nice day regardless.

Great getting to fish with you Jim. And getting to meet another NWKA. (not remembering your name- terrible with that Wish the fish had been more cooperative.

It was nice getting to go fishing with my son  (Drake) for one last chance at the pinks. I think it was one of those "should have been here last week" deals. Knew it was coming to a close in the salt for pinks but last week was too stormy so what are going to do? Go fishing!

Anyway, we finally found some on Foss but they were all crowded into one area by the fuel dock. Too much combat fishing. But a school decided to leave and head for the mouth. They were jumping and dolphining away, so we gave chase. We were able to get two or three casts and then would have to paddle to keep up, casting in front of the school. I finally hooked into a nice fish that put up a great fight. Better than the other pinks I had caught. He was about 2.8 lbs. but fought better than that! Kokanee rod is the only way to go for pinks.

Enjoyed the day with my son, and got some fishing in.
