2nd Annual Tillamook Bay May Day registration/rules on #1

I am in as well, work permitting. I may even pull the trigger on an Outback in time for this.

Pinned down a good launch time of 5:45 am with sunrise is 5:37. Low tide is 7:45 at -0.5 ft and high tide is 2:12 pm at +6.3 ft.......
Snamighty has already messaged me to volunteer to help out this year and I welcome all help I can get as well as suggestions or ideas. Jim will be our Tregor grill master again this year so the food is going to be absolutely fabulous.

I was disappointed to not be able to find NoYak's photo gallery from the event still up. Anybody know if the link changed or something?

Unfortunately Noyaks is no longer a functioning website. I can get the pictures from Bill ( I hope) and if someone wants to volunteer to do it, I would love to see a blog or face book page or something similar for the event but I'm FAR from tech savvy so that would have to fall on someone else's shoulders.
Fugative has jumped up to help out and all help is welcome as I hope to get this 25% bigger then last year. We will be doing the shirts again this year and hope to get that up and running before the end of the year.... Hope no guarantee.

Cosmo helped from behind the lines last year and is already helping  this year with valuable input. Snamighty has volunteered to help out. Fugative will be running a camera "jet" as well as packing a few essential if someone needs something on the water he will assist in getting people out of the water if needed but is in no way a "rescue boat".
Jackson Kayak is in the works to make a donation just not sure what yet, and I have been email back and forth with the owner Eric Jackson "EJ" and asked him to fish the event, if he can make it.
Next Adventure has already said they want to help sponsor with some donations for the prize/ raffle pool.
Hope to get Kayak Shed on board and would love to have Langcod and crew run the raffle at the after diner if possible.
Put out the paperwork for Cabelas today.
  If someone that is IT savvy would like to volunteer to set up some sort of social media page, blog, Facebook, or what ever ? if there are any that won't charge, so we can get pictures and event posts going, that would be great as I am DEFINITELY NOT IT anything. Let me know I'm hoping I can get last year's pics from noyak.
  I will start the local push for donations with any luck this coming week and like last year I will post up donations as they come in.

Hey Shannon, If I'm able to take off from work I'd be able to help with pre / post event setup or takedown labor.  I'd like to fish the tournament, but am willing to help however I can.  I had a great time last year. 

Look forward to having you back this year Smokeyangler. I hope that anyone that can help will get out and fish it. We will be needing some help in the potluck prepping but that can be started after  guys weigh in, Jimmy will be running one grill and hopefully his nephew can run the second grill. And we may need a couple crab cookers as well as cooks. With any luck smilinkayaker will be in from Idaho with a box of them delicious taters. Come to think of it if someone wants to grab the reigns on the potluck speak up? Mostly just keeping track of who's bringing what and let me know if I need to get somethings to fill the gaps.

Make sure to have a couple extra days so we can hit PC that was a hoot last year, now we just need to convince Pmmpete to make the trek from Big Sky Country. Pete? You there Pete?

I plan on staying a couple extra days, to far to drive not to fish till I drop before I drive back home.

Phil from Procure is on the sponsor list for TBMD 2, Jay said Manzanita Lighthouse Pub-n-Grub will be donating some delicious beef for the grills again. And I know it's still a ways off but I'm hitting the emails and phone calls early this go round. I'm thinking I will have registrations ready to go the first part of January and angler numbers will be in order of received registration, there most likely will be limited goodies for the early signed up! If anyone has a sponsor or contact info for someone that might be willing to donate let me know and same as last year costs will be bare bones so HOW gets the maximum $$$$. It will be potluck for the after party so if you got a favorite dish you want critiqued you can bring it.

I had a great time at last year's May Day, really enjoyed meeting you and others, and definitely want to get out to the coast a couple of times in 2016.  Whether I make the trip for May Day or some other event depends on how my schedule shapes up.

Looks like fun!  I'll definitely keep on the calendar as a possible inaugural Oregon event.

Depends a bunch on work plans as time nears.

The probability I can make this just jumped up to 50/50... so when registration opens, I'm in!
