Yeah I ordered six but my credit card hasn't been charged yet. I wonder if they will all go through.

Did you order for pickup or shipping? Normally they don't bill until it's shipped, also on mine they said it would be billed at pickup (ordered for store pickup)

I was thinking the same thing, but I think my crabbing operation is going to be looking pretty classy. ;D

Good deal! But size... they look to be super small. I ordered 4 just in case, maybe for backyard decoration... :spittake:

If you think they are too small rig them in pairs for the price! ;D

I already have one of these. They work great for crabbing or anchoring in light currents. For moderate currents add a large crab pot float in series with it or double them up.

Is there a bouyancy rating for this size?  Would one of these be large enough for a harpoon tip buoy on an average size halibut?

Just stopped at the Carmen Dr store and paid the sale price for 3x. Looks like they are honoring it...and haven't pulled it down. Supposed to be 30x coming in to that store overnight.

Buoyancy is 13# for the A0.  I think it is light for halibut and would at least double up on them, which makes it 26# compared to A1 buoyancy of 29#.  That being said, Rudy has video of a butt having it's way with an A2 buoy (68# buoyancy).  It eventually came up.   ::)

I also think perhaps 13# is too much for crabbing in a swell.  It will make your pots walk unless you put more weight in them.  But kayakers don't want to weight down their pots any more than needed.
