;D Sweet! I just ordered 8. Either someone is getting fired for ordering too much stock or someone is getting fired for putting the price in wrong... either way... we win.

That's IF they carry through on the deal  :police:

I can't imagine that our group ordering maybe 100 total would raise too many red flags though.

Yeah, I hope they have the stock, or order more and honor the price.   The orders on the Bloodydecks thread are probably over 200 by now.

Buoyancy is 13# for the A0.  I think it is light for halibut and would at least double up on them, which makes it 26# compared to A1 buoyancy of 29#.  That being said, Rudy has video of a butt having it's way with an A2 buoy (68# buoyancy).  It eventually came up.   ::)

I also think perhaps 13# is too much for crabbing in a swell.  It will make your pots walk unless you put more weight in them.  But kayakers don't want to weight down their pots any more than needed.

Thanks for that, Allen.  Maybe I'll practice harpooning on a ling cod using one of these...

Interesting/good to know. I'm going to use mine for two anchor setups, and I usually crab in the bays so that's where my other ones are going.

I'm going  to use mine as fenders for my AI when I pull up to the local dock to get out and go take a piss.

Go ahead and call me a band-wagoner; I ordered some too.
Band Wagoner!  What are you going to use yours for??
I don't know exactly what I'm going to do with them but here are a few of my ideas:
- use them to float the beer cooler that I'm towing.
- fashion some self-rescue aiding shoes; think walk on water.
- tie them along the side of my kayak for the bumper boat fishing spots.
- build a kayak slalom course to practice my skills for avoiding powerboats.

I don't know... I'll keep brainstorming.  A winning idea is in there somewhere.

I checked my order status, and it said shipped. So they must be allowing the orders to actually be shipped for the price they say

Their profit margin has got to be pretty thin on this offer unless they were a spiff. Order 100,000 get 10,000 free.

More likely they were required as part of a larger deal on other sizes, and they are dumping them, maybe below cost, to get that money out quickly and drop their inventory to normal levels. Made their margin elsewhere un the purchase.

Dannybay's surprise bouys have shipped!  Hope he can figure out how to use them.  Or they will add color to the fishing section of the guest room.
