I was just there and its pretty well cleaned up only 2 campers by the fence, busses gone no one in the corner. Loojed clean and ready for use. Art

That's good news!  They must've picked up and left since sunday.  They were on the far southern end of it.  Had an RV and furniture under tarps.  I wonder if my complaint was actually helpful.

WG can seem a little like Mad Max sometimes. If it's not to your liking, the Stariski Creek Campground is just a couple minutes away. Sure, you can't just drag your kayak down to the water, but it's a lot quieter up there. It's also $15/night, which is probably why it's quieter.
