In Homer Friday through Monday

Hope to have another great weekend and hope to see some of you there.... LET'S FISH!!! got a decent report of some kings getting caught today and even some silvers. I prefer kings for eating but a mixed bag would be nice...see you there !!

I made a camp reservation for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. I'll be close to the end of condos (away from Land's End). I won't show up till later tonight.  See you down there.

Kinda upset about this going to get split rings asap anybody have this issue with coho killers

I've never had that happen to me, but my Coho Killers don't get as much exercise as yours do!

I have never had a failure on the coho killers but that is weird.  I've always been concerned that after a few fish the thin body might have issues.  That's new to me and I use them pretty frequently. 

At least it was when I was tying on a leader and not from a fish

I think I'm between you and the  condos. I got in just before dark. Takes longer setting up the trailer in the dark.

Watching Jacob get hook up after hook up yesterday made me really wish I had a downrigger. I saw lots of fish caught, mostly at depths of 75 to 100 ft. (I asked passing boats.) I managed to miss two good bites, but that was it. Going to fish afternoon today. Knees can't take another 5 hours of pedaling.

just as I was coming into get my downrigger, I broke a rudder line.  good thing my spare kayak was in Kenai.  lol.  one silver kept so far.  released a 8 pound king in 35 ft of water.  Definitely not as consistent as the deep bite during the afternoon.  but early and late they seem to move up.  will hit last light today and first light in the morning tomorrow.
