been thinking of trying some black mouth looks like they are open in a few of the southern sound areas. So how about it any luck yet?

Plenty of blackmouth to be had... shakers that is! :D Can't keep anything down for longer than 5 mins at times. But all in good fun. Scrape the bottom and you may find some good action.

The best reports I've been hearing are from the N. Sound. In the S. Sound, the Pt. Defiance area seems to be the best.

A little while before closure, I was nailing about a zillion shakers using a mini-hoochie behind a dodger, do when it opens again  in mid-Feb there may be pretty good BM fishing around my neck of the woods (Quartermaster Harbor to Point Defiance).

the kid in the middle is his first salmon ever!...the bar has been set way to high for him!...alden bank saturday AM all 4 in 3 hours time...smallest 10# largest 13#...i had to take the photo so the smallest is still laying on the deck...we hit the jackpot that day!  those boys and myself will remember that day forever

  Do you mean Allen Bank, between Vashon Island and Blake Island????  I was on the 10AM ferry off the north end and saw about 5 powerboats fishing near Vashon.
