Spot.. least you have some hair to sport!  I'm 35, and have less hair than my 75 year old dad ??? ::).  I follow the "if you can't grow it mow it" game plan....

Very nice, I had never heard it called that before.

In reality, I'll be the only one catching anything from a "real" kayak. You kids have fun with your pool toys. Don't forget your rudders, pedals, and sails!

Purists...  ::) BTW I can't recall a single report of yours' with a salmon in hand... You got a lotta talkin' to back up JS.

Z

Actually, I don't. I don't talk smack about fishing hardly ever. I DO talk allot of smack about paddling though, which I will gladly take any one to school on any time 8)

Nanook...what is that from Mork and Mindy?....man you guys are old ;D you guys are to me what power boaters are to you. :o

I'm off Sundays & Mondays...if anyone ever wants to see what fishing from a "kayak" looks like.

If I can get the mid terms done by sunday, I'll be fishing down by warrior rock @ sauvie island for springers on Monday.

lol, and i could change my avatar every day of the week with a  different fish I've actually caught on a Kayak. I looked at your site , all but one of the fish are caught on a boat...

and Nanook, is Nanook of the North, he fished out of a "real" Kayak....

Yeah I hear ya. Up until recently when I started my blog, I didn't care to much about a picture of me with fish sitting in my yak. Mostly because I'm alone all the time.

I didn't really want to put forth the effort with a non waterproof camera (when I did I drowned it, and was cameraless for 2 months) holding rod, fish, paddle in a sea kayak, and usually didn't take pics of fish until I got home....and I release most fish.

Now that I know what an ego stroke it is for you guys, I'm trying harder to take pics, and then I blew my right hand and have been sitting on my ass for 3 months.

I know what Nanook is....just like everything else I say on here, I enjoy getting a rise out of you guys >:D

Well, all my smack is in response to other people's smack. I don't ever start it, but I'll finish it! I think allot of you guys forget the KAYAK in kayak anglers.

I know you guys are better fisherman, and I'm learning from you. Don't be offended if I know more about kayaking. I'm just trying to share my knowledge.

jself,
didn't I run into you and a friend last summer, I believe, on the Nehalem right as you were leaving the dock in Wheeler? I was on my way out in my dark green OK Big Game.

Jason:I don't care I'm jonesin for salmon so bad after missing most of the fall run. i start trolling off sauvie island this coming weekend. I've scouted everything and every launch from chinook landing to warrior rock and it's time to get it on!

Spot: Don't waste yer time.  You can't catch springers out of a kayak.

Steelhdr: Yep, I agree with Spot. You really can't catch springers from a kayak. That's MY job.

Jason: We'll just have to see about that.

Just defending my honor dude. Don't dish it out if you can't take it.

Yes that was me and my step dad from Texas. He was in my yellow trident and I was in my green explorer.

Man did the fishing blow that day! the week before I couldn't keep the native coho off my hook, didn't even get a hook up that day.

I agree. I had brought home a nice clipped king the weekend before and landed 2 other natives the week before. Eventhough all the talk was about the crazy coho bite, I never even got bit by one. I did get to see them jumping all around me though.

Sounds like a personal problem, and that is pretty weak.

I'd rather talk about kayak fishing than whine, so you get your wish.

I'm out.
