That's not the forecast I'm seeing, but if it's true I'd be up for it.

I thought it might be an April fool's joke, but it seemed like a lame one.  ;)  A lot can happen in a couple days so I just posted that if it was true I'd go.  I think Pelagic Paddler and Kykfshr pretty much did the same.

However, I can attest to the fact that you got FFTW.  He PM'd me to tell me that "The coast is calling this weekend".   ;D

Lame huh?  Well tell your wife she can keep her money.  I'll be fishing with Zee for the remainder of the year.   :P

Jay,

Isn't that the experimental forecasting tool that sent you to the beach on a 12ft day?   ;D

On a more serious note:  Beware these short lived lulls between 10+ ft swells.  Check the nearshore AND outside buoys before launch.  No fish is worth your life.

Actually,
I did check around and, at least at this point in the week, there appears we may have a break in the 10ft+ swell for Sunday. It's nothing to commit to yet but I'll be keeping my eye on the forecast, especially since my wife is out of town.  ;)

Spot, it actually wasn't that lame, I did after all bother to double check the forecast.  :)  I had my hopes up there for a second.
