I worked there for a second job last year and still talk to quite a few of the employees at the Issaquah Joes.  They are going to text me when the prices drop down to the next tier. I'll pass it on to you guys when it happens.

If you know what to look for there are some deals at the current prices (20-30%) on vehicle related items that never went on sale.  Most of the prices actually stayed the same on stuff since Joes has already been selling at retail for much of the past year trying to stay afloat.

Everything dropped down to 30-50% now.  The kayak stuff and yak's are at 30% off.

Make sure whatever you buy there can be fully inspected in the store before you buy it. I saw a post on craigslist.org last night of a guy that bought one of the tents, took it home, unpacked it only to find a huge rip in it. No returns so the guy is probably s.o.l. or in the market for a tent repair kit.

Saw something about some ATV's that would start but not go anywhere.  Not sure how that got handled due to the "All Sales Final"  issue.  Too bad seeing this outfit go under.

I wouldn't buy anything I wasn't previously familiar with just because I found a good deal on it.  Joes has always stocked a variety of crap I wouldn't take for free, but there are plenty of diamonds in the rough.  If you are looking for something you know they stocked, but can't find it, look for it elsewhere in the store; people try and hide stuff all the time at these sales so that it'll be there after they convince their wife/husband they need it or the price drops again.  CIP- I found the K&N for my new truck hidden in a Thule cargo box and my size in a pair of pants inside a grill. :icon_scratch:

The good thing about the kayaks and canoes is that they are still hanging from the ceiling in most of the stores.  Out of site, out of mind for most of the shoppers.

They had a angler Prowler 13 @ the one in Lynnwood w/ rudder FF etc.. Dunno how much it is but might be worth checking.

At the Kirkland store they have a P13 Angler model with the really nice OK seat (a lot like the Apex 1) w/ the two rod holder seat back attachment.  For some reason or another the center hatch is a screw on type vice a cam latch.  There is no rudder.  To be honest it looks like someone swapped out the seat at some point on a blem angler; either way it is a scream'n deal with that seat on there at 30% off the standard angler price...

I shopped at the one in Mt. Vernon Wa on Sunday afternoon.   The store was pretty much on its way to being picked clean.  All the good rods and reels were snatched up, but I did happen to pick up an new Flo Orange fishing hat, a Crab Hawk, and some other superfilous crap.  I think I spent about $35.

I'm really hoping that a Bass Pro Shop would open up around Hillsboro/North Plains area.

A BPS in the northwest is probably a longshot, but I'd drive to just about anywhere in WA, OR, or ID to get to it if they did.

Exactly!  Why does the south east part of the nation get all the good stores?
