Anybody hit up the Joe's sale?  Might be a few deals to be had.  Any preliminary recon reports?

Are they having a liquidation sale?

I stopped in last night for a replacement light for my car. Some of the shelves seemed a bit bare but no indication of a big sale.

Most likely much will be sent back to vendors in lieu of payment  and any liquidation sales will be in bulk to other stores to get things done quickly.  It seems like we would have seen some sort of advert about it by now.

According to all TV news, the big liquidation sales start today.  All remaining in store inventory is on sale......

Thanks for the info. I'll have to get out there and check it out after work if anything is left.

wow, the southhill mall in puyallup is gonna be a ghost town by the time all these store closures are done... thye've already lost 3 electronics stores, the linens n things store, and some smaller ones... now this one too??

guess one way to look at it is that lots of retail rental space will come open, maybe cheap..

Cedar Hills has a Wilderness Systems Tsunami 140 that may get snatched up if the price is right.  There were a few SOTs a week ago, too.  Gotta gig tonight, but may swing in tomorrow morning.

I hear there's not much of a sale going on at the moment. Everything has been marked up to retail then marked down 10%. Trying to lure in the suckers first.

Same company that liquidated Circuit City - if you're familiar with that sale, you'll know what to expect.

I do know of at least one employee willing to make unadvertised deals like 2fer1 Tekota line counters.

Would that wonderful human being work at the Sherwood store?

Still only 10-20% off.  Hardshell boats don't even have markdown stickers yet.  That Beaverton manager has been willing to deal in the past, so maybe there's hope....

Thank goodness for Bi-Mart!
They don't have quite the selection that Joes had but they do carry a good selection of fishing gear and fresh bait.

I'm still going to miss GI-Joes!
