That would be a great place to go fish.  If numbers help - I'm in.

So looks like we need to put in an order for a few of these with Kayak racks, huh?

It's not a motorized vehicle, so we just ride these suckers right down the beach.  If the water is all smooth, take it right out into the water, too!   ;D

Not for the water, but for the floation on the sand.  Change the pedal system and put in mountain bike gears.  All they need to do is be able to get the kayak down the beach past the "No OHV" sign and on down to the wall where the put in looks really protected.   At this point walking, or pedal power is pretty much our only option........unnnnnnleeeessss we cut a new tail through the trees along the B-Scout camp property.   >:D

Interesting page regarding this area we are chatting about.

Another kayak's page (very cool kayak page).  There are some really great photos of the south side of the cape.  Just look for his Cape Lookout pics.  There are also some weather and swell prediction sites to gander at.

Check the ODFW regs. (in the back), some spots in that area are off limits to fishing ("marine gardens" or some such thing as that), not positive but I think that area may be one of them.

Yeah, I think that place is "Pirates Cove" and yes, I think it's a protected area. Whale Cove is just south of Depoe Bay and that would for sure be the equivalent of a north coast Sunset Bay, sadly, that place is protected too and completely surrounded by private land. :(

I guess I was way too subtle, yesterday. ::)

As to groups.. they do allow them, but the group must retain a $1,000,000 (yes 6 zeros ::)) liability rider for the event , regardless of the group size or event length.

Here's what I said, in response.

Hmm, maybe you just need a fishing guide with proof of that level of insurance, to accompany your group. ::)

I guess most of you don't know that I'm a fly-fishing guide. I thought maybe someone would notice the "http://www.methowfishing.com/guidebill.html" and see that

"Bill is licensed, insured, and CPR/First Aid Certified."

I would have to check my policy, because off-hand I'm not sure about my total liability coverage.
