I may go and voice my concerns if I am in town.  I may have to leave though.  If so I am going to start emailing my questions. I purchased my permit today, and I couldn't understand why they couldn't just have it expire in January 2012 just like the PBrs.  Seems like a simple software fix.   >:(

I guess technically I'll be covered under Alder Creek, but I still will not buy a permit.

Apparently the ODF issued an update to the rules for the 10' and over non powered regulations.  You no longer require an invasive species permit issued in your name.  All you need is one on the boat when you're paddling.
The girl at the Fred Meyer Customer Service counter gave me a copy of the update when I picked up my license on Saturday.

I wonder if we have enough Oregon members to make a club permit feasible?

It's about time they start making sense with this whole thing.

Found it online!  (Last section, bottom of 1st paragraph)

Sweet!  Looks like they put this to market way to fast and didn't cross all their I's and dot their T's.

In the future, they should make an attempt to cull public comment by posting on high traffic local forums.
Little bits on the news, or small print in a newpaper is just old school and obviously useless.  Now they have to
backpedal and fix what the public throws at them.   Load their e-mail boxes up guys, maybe we can still get them
make it a two year permit like the power boats get!
