Lots of talent within NWKA, much of which has not surfaced. Wondering if as individuals we surfaced our skills/talents with the hope of bartering for what someone else needs/wants? holt

Great Idea!

Im looking for a utility trailer that can be turned into a kayak trailer.  Im willing to part with some really nice fishing stuff if anyone is up to the task. (Looking for a welder)

Oh Insaaaaaaaaayyn...

I think he's still asleep.  I give him 2 hrs and he'll be all over this.   ;D

I was up at 6am. :o  Been gearing in my garage ever since.  You'll hardly recognize it now.

As for trailer building, I gotta build my trailer first!   ;D

However, I can do alterations/additions to an already rolling trailer if someone has one that needs some upgrades, but a trailer from the ground up is time consuming to build, and I'm not sure I wanna commit to that kind of time at this juncture.   :-\

We'll see how my build goes first.  8)

This is what Im thinking...I'll have the rolling trailer.  Someone adds the ability to carry 4 kayaks, a storage box to the front.  for that you get a calcutta 401te (never used-in box) and up to $200 paypal'ed or cash...

I've recently come across a wholesle distributor of acai berries. If anyone wants to barter a 21 foot surfski for said product, I'd be willing to deal.

Actually, this is a cool idea, and one that has worked for some friends. I fancy myself as an artist of sorts, and have done a few fish-based pieces. But that's about it as far as tradable skills are concerned. Unless you need a term paper written in the style of the chum bucket.

If you don't find any closer options draw up what your thinking for your trailer and get it down here for a week or so and I can probably make it happen.  There is pictures of my trailer on the kayak trailer thread.

I wanna play! I've been making custom stickers for my kayak -

These are made out of car graphic vinyl, they work pretty well on the smooth parts of the kayak, but on the rough surfaces they don't stick as well. You can see the big fish on the stern is missing a part of it's tail from some brush along the Kilchis river. I'm trying to find thicker vinyl, like the stuff the nwka stickers are printed on, for a decent price. I think that stuff would be awesome. Anyway, I can cut almost any design, out of pretty much any thickness. SOLAS tape, etc.
I dig homemade gear, so if anybody wants to trade some jigs, spinners, flies, etc. etc., let me know. I also tie up some pretty mean spinners, and always like to try other peoples designs, so I'd do a swap for those, too. Or whatever.

I love the designs.  I wish I would have seen these before finishing my latest wood yak.  I would like to print something like that out on rice paper so I could epoxy it to a boat before fiberglassing.  It would be indestructible under the fiberglass and the rice paper vanishes in the resin.

Jonah, how much would you charge me to modify this and make it in all black?  Make all the white letters and the canoe black and not a bumper sticker.

Are you looking at something like this for the rack?

Oops!  Didn't see your last post.  That looks easy enough.  For the box, are you wanting a fully fabbed box from scratch, or couldn't you just bolt down a prefabbed steel box?
