Sounds good I think I might come up thur. and stay until saturday night. I will need you to babysit me the first day to show me the ropes and if you have anything else planned like salmon fishing I'll just do rock fishing. How far is Bastendorff from where you put in at? I have to get a hold of Fishman James to see if he can make it.
I don't know if you noticed from some of my pictures I posted that I have a cattle and hay farm since I think you have a farm from what I've seen posted. I only have 15 acres but it keeps me busy since I retired.

I'll try to make it Thurs. nite after work (depending on conditions). Maybe tie in w/y'all Fri a.m

FYI - also have a full hook-up at our place in Barview (just down the street from CBY). When you get your truck up & running for the 5th wheeler, I'll beat any full hook-up price in the area & you'll have a reserved spot.

I think I'll get up there around noon on thur. if I don't get lost. :-\
What happen is that My dodge 3/4 has been giving me a lot of problems so I got rid of it and picked up a chev tracker. So now I have to get my one ton set up to pull the 5th wheel. Kind of thinking about getting a small tent trailer to pull behind the tracker. Need you guys to go over my tackel to see what I should use up here. I've only used shrimp fly rigs with squid to catch rockcod from my power boat in Ca.

No farm for me, just a small acre, seems large after a 50X100. Bastendorff is less then a mile to Sunset Bay.  Just checked the forecast, hope the trend changes...If it stays 5 or under we should be ok since the wind looks low, especially early. I'll PM you my Number so you can call me when you get in town.

WED...W WIND 5 KT...BACKING TO SW. WIND WAVES 2 FT OR LESS. MIXED SWELL W 2 TO 3 FT AND SW 2 FT.

THU...SE WIND 5 KT...VEERING TO SW. WIND WAVES 2 FT OR LESS. SWELL W 5 FT.

for gear, like Paul posted, get different sizes and colors from 3-6 inch with 1-2 ounce jigheads. I really like these squid plastics(Turman Tackle). I also bring a small spinning rod with some 1/4-1/2 OZ heads for casting

You rock CBY! Salmon are, well, salmon. You know it. ;) Keep your head in the game, put in your time, and you'll get 'em again.

Cool, i like to spread my frustration around...

You know , even though it sucks not catching a Salmon every trip, or every other trip, or every other other trip, there are so many worse things that can happen in life, and it's so beautiful out there and you see such cool natural and unnatural stuff that it's hard to be too upset...
