Roy,
It's been a hell of a month...what's your plan for October? You need a break. Maybe, a fishing trip to relax is in order.  ;)

I was thinking:

cleanthehouse-a-thon
mowthelawn-a-thon
move100yardsofdirt-a-thon
winterizethetraveltrailer-a-thon
setupwoodshop-a-thon

or just a good old sleep-a-thon

Needs to take himself to an all you can eat seafood buffet.  ;D

I got your seafood buffet....

Here i am at my all you can eat buffet...should i have Salmon(smoked or straight)..maybe some lingcod, cabbie, black or greenling?.. maybe some of each..  ;)

See ya on the water..
Roy

Sept. 28th  trolled the Coquille Rivar again hoping to catch a wild Coho before the quota is met. No love from the Silvers but i did get a Chinook. Was quite a comedy of errors, with some pain and near disaster. All ended well with a shiny 27 1/2 inch 'nook.

the net grabbed a lure i had on my spare pole and pulled it forward hooking my finger, stratching the line under the net handle and when i shook it out of my finger it came whipping up barley missing my face and nicking my hat as it flew up! i was so engroosed in the fish i didn't realixe how close it was until i was editing the video..Yikes!

Then i flopped the net over my cam and mount and it got all tangled up...couldn't free it so i just yanked up on the net pulling the cam out of the hole and just netted the fish with it entangled in the net. It actually turned out kinda cool i think, kind of a fish's perspective...like it!

The swirl and my slck jaw at the very beginning was a huge silver rolling right under my bow.

Great job on getting that fish in the boat - that was chaotic madness - BTDT!!

It's difficult to catch the "hookup" moment on vid - nicely done.

I look forward to seeing your camera mount too.
See you at Gimme Shelter

HooHah!!!  strap the camera to the fish right away quick, keep the fish solidly hooked, then turn it loose and let it run around u/w for awhile, then retrieve and get a real fishes' eye view!!

Hahahahaha  I love the perspective!!!

I was waiting to see the wood come down and the camera bounce as you applied the shampoo.  :)

if the camera didn't inadvertently get turned off shortly after i hoisted the fish in the boat, you probably would have.

I'd love to see you repeat that with the bonk.  Don't forget to put PETA and Seakitten in the title and Youtube meta links.

On second thought, you may want to wait on posting that till Polepole has a chance to shore up the sites hacking security....
