Pacific City hook-up this weekend

The girlfriend and I will be in Pacific City this weekend. If the ocean cooperates I'll be getting salty!
Anyone else going to be around the area? I haven't fished the Oregon coast yet so any advise would be appreciated.

I'll be down in that neck of the woods this weekend.  My advise would be to play it safe and stay on the sand.  Sunday looks like the only day that "might" even be close to fishable, might being the optimum word.  Saturday and Monday both looks yucky.  Maybe bring a crab trap or two or look for clams if you need a salt fix.  I'll be chasing Steelhead on a couple local rivers...My yak is staying home until the ocean is more friendly..

we will be there sat. sun. mon.  just hangin out. can meet up at the pelican for some overpriced micros. always good to meet new nwka bros.
maybe ling banger will swing by. 

hey JR? is there a cheaper place for a micro in PC? i dont remember the pelican being all that expensive given the size of the drinks they brought.

and theres another place 2 blocks off the beach across the street from the library next to a gas station(?) that i've eaten at too that seemed to be competitive with the Pelican.

and no i'm not busting your chops, i'm asking for pointers.

trust me, i'd rather be at PC this weekend instead of El P.

no its all good, i am just a tight ass. their 20 oz. is around $5.00. that's not too bad considering we are within walking distance. the other pub is the sportmans and is a little more affordable and laid back, more of a locals hangout. cant afford a DUI so i dont know what i am bitching about.

We'll be getting  in late tonight  and around all day saturday and sunday, leaving earlyish on Monday. I'm definately up for a beer Saturday night if you are....

I had planned to get the family to PC this weekend too, but work got in the way.  Going to stay local and enjoy Bend Winterfest, not too shabby.  If my plan would have worked, you definately would find me down at Sporty's with spirits and a pile of razor clams, love that place.

The weather is fantasstic!! and the swell looks to belaying down. If anyone wants to join i'll be out arond the big rock just south of the cape tomorrow and monday. tonight  we going to head out to the oar house for a pint or two.
On the water i'll be on a yellow OK P-13 in the bar look for a tall guy and a girl with black curly hair.

I think I may try to head out to the coast from PDX. Let me know if you have any interest in sharing a ride. I have my kayak trailer so its pretty easy to take multiple kayaks.

TXpaddler, let me know if you are heading down on Monday. I would love a ride.  I may do some chumming once we get there, but it always seems to attract fish.
