Holy Crap! That is an awesome day!  If a rockin' day on the water like that is what we have to look forward to, this is going to be a kick ass year.

I think they get that way earlier in the year.  Those were probably all males and they were all most likely just sitting around on the bottom guarding nests.  That's also probably why they were so aggressive.

I caught this one earlier in the year and it had the same thing going on.

Unfortunately, I found one of the Greenlings I caught was full of worms!  In the trash it went... just a reminder- whatever you catch- COOK THUROUGHLY- just in case!

I still have the heebie-jeebies from that!
