Official ORC 2011 Announcement Thread

I'm hoping to make it Thursday evening now. My goal is to hopefully join up with and do a sort of pre paddle Friday with someone. July ,I might get a radio,have none currently.

I'm going to make some time on Thursday. Planing on a easy fish on Friday so you could join me.  The ocean forecast looks better on Friday so it'd be a good day to get your feet wet.  Look me up when get there I'm in a blue VW van.

Nice I'll try n be ready, I'm in a red Tacoma,I'll keep me eyes opened. And if you dont see me by Friday morning I understand if ya take off w/o me. Only thing holding me up from basic ocean prep and going out is a kokatat top I'm waiting on.

I just booked a campsite at Chinook Bend and will be joining you all for the weekend. Are there any kayak rental places near Depoe Bay that anyone knows of? The almighty Google doesn't show anything on the map so I'm thinking probably not.  I found a place in Siletz Bay but it looks like they only have sit inside yaks. I read through the thread and didn't see anyone else who is in between yaks so I thought I'd ask.

I talked to 2ndflooryak yesterday and pretty sure he's going to come down and pay entry fee on site.

I'm going to shut down the Paypal link at 5PM this evening.  If you still plan on registering, you can do so in person at Chinook Bend Campground on Friday night.

I think I have everything packed, (and then some). 

We'll be rolling in to Chinook Bend around noon tomorrow.
