I haven't done a ton of video but did apply some RainX to the outside of my GoPro camera and the water sheets right off. It is on the housing of the camera and doesn't go right on the lens though.

Gopro actually recommends this on their site.  I forgot to do it at the ORC and my video was worthless.

Just thought I'd bump this up to get the juices flowing for ORC 2012.

We're looking at Father's Day weekend again this year (June 16th).  If you've never been to one of these, check out the images in this thread to see what it's all about.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain

I happened into a conversation at the Papa Murphy's in Lincoln City just last week.  The counter guy was talking with a lady customer about fishing the Siletz for Salmon.  He asked where on the river he could do that easily.  She said, "Right from our docks if you want.  We have four of them.  Just pay the $8.00 dock fee."  I asked her what place she had.  CHINOOK BEND RV PARK.  Told her who I was and it went on from there.

She impressed me with how much she seemed to like having our event there.  Genuine appreciation for a nice group of folks.  She thought it was a perfect group for their venue and I told her we all thought it was perfect as well.  Especially being able to use the upstairs hall for our deluged awards ceremony.  She is really looking forward to having NWKA there again this year.

....... just a mention for the powers that be.   ;D
