That seems fair to me but who makes the rules?

There already is a rule.  It has to be human powered.  Tandem peddle/paddle = tandem human power. If tandems were not allowed, none of the little kids that compete in this forum would be allowed to post fish.

If the other angler is my 9 year old grandson I should get a 3" handicap bonus! ;-)

Should be a 3" deduction.  I regularly get outfished by kids, so having them with you would be an advantage.
Kids put off some kind of MoJo that brings in fish.   ;D

Demonick, amazing! I was just about to post this exact question since I have a tandem and prefer to fish with a buddy. ...
I have my moments - far and few between though they may be.

It occurred to me because I recently fished in a tandem Oasis off Maui.

I would love to sign up, but I see one flaw in the rules.  Why are fish caught in legally open C&R fisheries not allowed?

i understand not counting species not open while fishing waters for other species (example: halibut landed while lingcod fishing but halibut not currently open) but I don't understand excluding fish caught in legally open public fisheries.

We do not want to put any extra stress on C&R fish, by delaying the release to set up for a picture against a measuring device.  In many C&R fisheries, you are not even allowed to remove the fish from the water.  It's just better for the fish.

Well thought out, you guys are so totally cool! Proud to be a member.

I'm such an ardent conservationist I not only don't remove them from the water, I typically don't even hook them... ;-)

Me too!  It's like the fish are completely scared of my lure/bait.   :dontknow:

Hoping to improve my average this year. Does reveal a whole new facet to "fish fear me"...

No changes would be made for this year.  Note that Silver Salmon is already included ("Coho").
