Anyone want to just make the call on where to stay?  I just need a place to park the car and sleep in it.

Also, who's planning on coming down from Seattle area?  I think Zee and Espiga are, and T and Charles mentioned something about being interested.  Who else?

I'm planning on waking up at o'dark thirty and meeting you guys at Drano on Sunday morning.   Let's see, sunrise is going to be roughly 6:30 am so I'm planning on getting there around 5:45 am or so.

Are we planning on launching at the pullout on the west side or the main boat ramp?

Hmm, I have to remember to cross the river to Vancouver and get a day license sometime Saturday for Sunday's fishing.  So much to do.

Oh, the count over the dam today was 111.  No where near the 10 yr average, but still ahead of last year.

I'm planning on coming for at least one day... not sure yet if I will commute or camp.  It is 1.5-2 hours one way from Portland.

My job is infringing on my fishing schedule this weekend.  My CURRENT plan is to drive out early on Saturday from Portland, but just for that day.  Sunday is probably out, as is camping for me this weekend.  But I'll be looking for some friendlies on the water if anybody's there.   Planning on parking at boat ramp, but if that's full...will launch whereever.

I'm planning on heading up from PDX on Saturday morning, getting a room and staying till Monday.  The girlfriend and my 5 y/o will be travelling with me.

Can we get a roll call and a firm meeting place for Sunday?

Who else is going to be there Saturday?

Sunday is a GO for me, bright and WAAAYYYY early. I'll meet and launch wherever the group decides. After Sunday on the channel, I've got springer fever.

I just hope my license arrives from WA by then. Just a heads-up, if you don't have a current license yet, don't get it on line. They are very backed up in mailing them out. I bought mine on 3/22 and it hasn't arrived yet.

FYI You can print a temp license on the site. That's what I have now.

That will work for fish that do NOT require a catch card. You can't fish for steelhead or salmon without the the catch card. That's why I'm hoping mine shows up soon.

Ok, as for places to stay I think Timberlake campground is the call. Super clean campground and close by for $17 a night. Each campspot is for 4 campers. So far the campers I know of are me, Pole, Espiga. Room for one more at our spot.

I'd love to join you guys and fish but I'm going to wait a couple more weeks and watch the counts and fishing reports before committing.

Best of luck to you all !!!!
