GF folks had no issues last year.  Bring your own batter and spend a few minutes at the deep fryer.  Problem solved.

Thanks Lee. I'll accomodate GF folks 1st at the fryer since they can still have reactions if there is non-gf batter in the oil. Problem taken care of.

Could also just pan fry some fish in a seperate pan.  I really recommend the Louisianna stuff, unless she likes a REALLY light coating, then the bisquick GF pancake mix is a better choice.  Thankfully, Linglady is no longer having issues with gluten  (she calls it glutarded)

I have a large Mr Heater Buddy I'd be happy to bring if it'd be helpful.

Plus I've got plenty of tarps I'll bring too.

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Ok... Ill offer up another deep fryer of peanut oil for fish frying and a bucket of home made tartar sauce.... Theres only one condition.... Those ribs are NOT allowed anywhere near the rest of the cooking area! I havent had my eyes water like that since boot camp going through the gas chamber!
No offence Blue... I like HOT stuff along with the best of them, but those vapors were killer!!!

I can make mango salsa and I'll see if Roland can make his spicy salsa too. It'll be nice to have a couple different types.

I can also make some seasoned chicken or beef for tacos.

Is there an official list started?

If it looks like we'll need tarps or heaters, I'm making the executive decision to move this event indoors.  We have the Barn booked with an option to use the riverside deck if the weather is good.

The list is at the top.  I'm updating the 1st post in this thread to keep track.

My wife will be baking cranberry oatmeal cookies and possibly some other home baked treats.  I'm sure they can survive the 10-12 hour drive if I can keep them out of reach.
