Where the heck are the reports! You're killing us with anticipation! How was the wind? The fish? The food? The camping? The celebration? Pics, vids, stories!!!

"A venturesome minority will always be eager to get off on their own,
and no obstacle should be placed in their path;
let them take risk, for God sake, let them get lost, sun burnt, stranded, drowned,
eaten by bears, buried alive under avalanches -
that is the right and privilege of any free American."

Just a photo of the start of the tournament. Sorry about the dirty lens!

The wind was fairly brutal, the fog varied between thick and very thick, I saw several sets of chattering teeth, and the swells were zero at the launch, but about 4 feet at the outer bay entrance. There were few fish caught, but fun was still had by most, if not all.

My personal record was 1 underling and 1 keeper crab. My best catch was one of my rods that I caught about 8 inches underwater and heading for the bottom. A more detailed report to follow tomorrow.

Just a quick report with more and a bunch of pics  to follow tomorrow.

For the third year ina row the conditions were challenging to say the least, probably the worst yet! dense fog, strong wind a wind swell made fishing the outside impossible.

The hardy anglers that braved the conditions were rewarded with not so good fishing...

But fun was had by all i think and about 9 of us did our best to polish off a 15 gallon keg of Ninkasi total domination.   :P

Final results:

1) Paul "pnw"
2) Steven "doughboy"
3) Dana "yaksurf"
4) Chris Vest  "pro bass guy"
5)Nate "ndogg"
6)Dave "goldendog"

there was 15 that signed up, the rest either were on the injured list , didn't go out or got skunked...

Thanks to all the showed up! Next year i hope we get the greasy flat conditions....

Thanks to all the sponsors and congrats to Paul, finally got his well deserved win!
See ya on the water..

Good people, good food, good beer, and good vodka!  What more could a person ask for.  Her are a few pictures.  I won't bore you with the one little underling I caught.

It was foggy and rough outside the inner bay.  It was like a roller coaster out there.  A few times I was watching my sonar and was seeing an 8-10+ foot difference in depth as a wave rolled through.  I remember my sonar going from 29.4 to 40.2 feet as I crested a wave when ndogg asked me what depth I was reading at the spot we were on.  I was watching some video footage and was starting to get seasick all over.

Ndogg fishing a somewhat sheltered area

The inner bay was a nice place to rest and calm the stomach before going back out for more punishment.

Jammer and Ling Banger returning for the weigh in.

Ling Banger showing us how to brace while riding the surf to the beach.  ;D

It was fun and I hope to be able to return next year.

Exactly ;)  Sunset is an awesome launch.

Also, I believe we were able to come up with viable solutions to all the world's problems while philosophizing around the campfire drinking the Total Domination last night. But, Olyspec broke out the Grey Goose and none of us could remember a damn thing about our solutions this morning.   I guess the problems will have to wait til next year.

Damn that Grey Goose! It's been the spoiler of world peace for years!

Sounds like a lot of fun.

Even catching one measly sculpin and 6 crab, I think I still I put more into the ocean than I took out... :puke:

Chris- (pro bass guy) caught a really nice nice flounder!
