GD it! hope that forecast is wrong

The noaa forecast looks a little better then the seaweed one , the wind is a concern. I'm gonna get there at 5:15 am so i can get people registered that want to get as early as start as possible. If you register and pay your entry fee the night before you can  launch early as you want.

I don't expect to make an especially early start, but I like to get things done ahead of time if possible, so how when and where should I meet up Friday? I plan on getting to CB mid-afternoon. Camping at SBSP.

If anyone is planning on traveling after sundown on 101 be very cautious of wildlife. Coming down at O-dark thirty last year I had to swerve between a couple of cows coming around a bend.
Almost shat myself and had a heart attack simultaneously.

You get warm spells like this and lots of critters go looking for an onshore breeze. Striking a Roosevelt elk is a quick way to make a great trip suck

Jeep packed with gear and clothes in the washer.  Just need to finish laundry, pack it up, grab my batteries, go to work in the morning....and on the road!!!

Seems like forever since I have been on the water.  Spent a couple hours going through gear this afternoon, loaded gear, put the PA on the jeep, and the back is only complaining slightly.  I really should have waited for help lifting up the PA...hope I can walk in the morning :)

Can't wait to get out there.  Focused...  Looking to just have a great time with all involved!!!

Oh yeah, gotta grab a big bottle of Grey Goose on the way out....

Seriously....your killing me.

It will be hard to resist, but we need to save most of it for Saturday night. I'll go in on $ too. However, also know that anyone near me or Oly will be partaking. :)

I cant wait! It also now looks like Doughboy is cruisin down with us too.
