Crossed over to the dark side!!

Well ... it offical I have crossed over to the dark side. I just got me brand new (to me) Hobie Adventure home. I am super stoked to be part of the peddal club now and can't wait for the next ripping current day so I can hold one spot and still fish! Lings watch out now. I may actually catch a fish in the salt water this year!!

Lee please send me a copy of you 24/7/365 "Welcome to the Gun Show" bi's and tri's beach muscle work out dvd so that I can stop worring about devoloping flaby "hobie arms"

Oh ya ... report from this weekend - I was the only one to not catch a salmon. Go me!

Only kidding, I'm stoked for you fungunnin...just wishin I had your boat.  Maybe next year.

Curious as to why you chose the adventure over the revolution. The additional speed is worth the additional 2.5' length and extra few lbs?  I'm shopping as well.

I chose the Addy for a couple of reasons. One is the speed ... it flat out hauls. No other SOT kayak can even come close over long distances.
Second it has the longest cockpit of any of the Hobbies. I test drove an outback and after a very long day in the saddle my knees were killing me. Didn't have that problem with the Addy.
Third is that I got a crazy good deal on the Addy )

Congrats on the boat! Pedal power is the way to go! BTW stickers make your boat go faster and catch more fish. Everybody knows that!
