I am going to be at our property on labor day week-end from sometime Friday evening until Monday afternoon.  It is on the Little Nestucca 8.5 miles upstream from hwy 101.  It is 11 miles from PC.  Looking for interested parties to got out drop some crab pots, catch some fish, have a couple of cold ones, share an awesome campfire and maybe do a little native cutthroat stream fishing.  Anyone interested give me a holler.  When the date gets closer and PC looks like it is not going to pan out we can always run down to Depoe Bay.  I am definitely getting some salt.  Ihop, Wobbler, Ling Banger, Noah, AJ any of you down.  I have room at the property for a couple of RV's and several tents - nothing fancy.  Shout back.

Thanks for the email invite Jimbo. Unfortunately I'll be in Toronto for a week starting September first. It sounds like a sweet time. Keep me posted on how you do!

I will be down there, PC if conditions permit on Sat. if too rough then DB.  Then DB on Sun.  I have property on the Little Nestucca at the 8.5 mile marker and will be down there camping from sometime Fri. night until Mon. afternoon.  I have room for campers if interested, nothing fancy but some level ground, parking, fresh water and an awesome firepit with a flip down cooking grate.  You can give me a call to confirm at (503) 591-5159

Jimbo

P.S. Don't forget to bring your stream fishing trout gear.  Cutts in the Little Nestucca............

For those hitting DB on Sunday, what time are you thinking of launching?

I'm thinking 7 a.m. would be a good launch time.  If anyone has any input give a shout out.

Has anyone been catching any rocks or lings at DB lately?  Noah said the rock/ling fishing has been slow due to lots of schools of baitfish at PC lately.  The only rocks/lings they have been catching was with herring when fishing for salmon.

Well to be fair, if you are dragging salmon gear you shouldn't be hooking up many lings. I'm sure they are out there somewhere. Could have probably dip netted rockfish out there last week, probably marked 25 schools, mostly 60-90 fow.
